Ways to delay foreclosure #2 : have the attorney or title company call the bank

The real estate investor is not the only person who can call the bank and ask for a foreclosure extension. Having the attorney or the title company in charge of closing the deal call the bank is another way to delay foreclosure. Usually having the attorney or closing company call the bank gives more credibility and the bank often grant the foreclosure extension. What the title company in charge of closing can say that neither you nor the real estate investor can do is tell the bank that there is a problem with the title of the property or there is a closing issue. Usually the title company or the attorney can obtain the foreclosure extension easier than the real estate investor can.
